Live from the Haunted A & W

No, really...the A & W this was taken at in Aztec, NM is apparently haunted. I didn't see anything spooky, but  the lemonade was damn tasty!

This is either 2002 or 2003. The band is The Felt Ups who had members that later went on to The Gravetones. They were playing at Rocky Horror this night. It was one of many of their shows that got shut down within a span of a few months. Needless to say, the band wasn't having much luck around that time. But it all came out for the better in the end. And what little they did get to play was pretty awesome. SO there.

As in the band. I saw them years ago at Modified in Phoenix when I was still working for The 'Nation. This was one of two that I actually liked from that night. As you can see, my options were limited. It's still pretty cool though.

Pre-show with RPM Orchestra. These two act like a married couple in the most hilarious of ways. This shot is an innuendo in itself. It makes me giggle like a Japanese school girl.

Nick Loves Pussy

Nick is one of my favorite models. He's from the UK and visits his parents out here once a year. Last year he shot with me and Holly Homocide. I took this right before we started the "Never Ends Well (Done)" shoot. He saw the kitty sitting on my counter and just had to have a photo with it. He was also tickled with what I entitled the photo when I sent it off to him.

ANYWAY...he's a great guy, great model, funny as hell, and actually let me dress him up in a tutu. (Someday, that set will turn up. I really don't have an excuse.)

I don't know why, but I've always loved this photo. It makes me smile every time I see it. It was taken very shortly after a drunken karaoke night with some co-workers. Good times.
